Eligibility Criteria: Education Qualification

  • Candidates should have completed 3 years of graduation from a recognized college or university in any stream.
  • Candidates should have scored an aggregate of 50% or more in graduation.
  • Candidate must have completed the degree course within the stipulated time with no-year back.(Example: B.A is a 3-year degree. Aspirant should have completed it within 3 years span and not more than that. Likewise, Engineering is a 4-year degree. Aspirant should have completed engineering within 4 years and not more.)
  • Candidate should not have more than 10 backlogs during his/her graduation.

Age Criteria:

  • Aspirant applying for SFP solutions should be less than 45 years of age.
  • Aspirants above 45 years of age are treated as exceptions and there are other conditions that need to be fulfilled by them. 
  • Requirements of Aspirant Above 45 Years Age:
    • Aspirants above 45 years of age are routed to the respective branch managers, they are required to raise a “Manager Call Request” on SF and select the respective Branch Managers Name in the field.
    • The respective branch manager then will speak to the aspirant, based on his/her profile, branch manager will explain the available options to the aspirants along with chances of success and close the deal if the client is interested.

Stay Back Periods and Post Graduation Work Permit in Canada

  • To be eligible to stay back in Canada, a candidate needs to pursue a course for a minimum duration of 8 months. 
  • Course less than 8 months does not allow an aspirant to stay back and apply for post-graduation work permit.
  • For post-graduation work permit an aspirant needs to pursue a course for a minimum duration 8 months or more.
  • Candidate will be eligible for a post-graduation work permit of equivalent duration as the course. (For Example: 8 months course = 8 months post-graduation work permit.)
  • If the candidate pursues 2 years course (masters or diploma), he/she will be eligible for a post-graduation work permit of 3 years in Canada.

Cost of Studying in Canada

Cost of studying in Canada varies from institute to institute. However, the cost of higher studies in Canada is comparatively lower than other countries in the world. Cost of technical and medical courses is comparatively higher than the courses in the arts stream.

Intakes in the Canadian Institues/Universities

Canadian universities and colleges offer three intakes or semesters, these are: 

  • Intake 1: Fall Semester – Starts in the month of September. This one is the most popular in Canada.
  • Intake 2: Winter Semester – Starts in the month of January
  • Intake 3: Summer Semester – Starts from April/May. This intake is specifically offered for limited programs and colleges in Canada.

Note:All the candidates are advised to apply well in advance because getting admission and scholarship becomes difficult when a person applies closer to the deadline. We advise aspirants to apply at least 6 to 9 months before the academic session starts.

Work Authorization for Students:

  • To be authorized to work in Canada, students must be over 18 years of age.
  • International students are allowed to work on-campus or off-campus for up to 20 hours during university semesters and full-time during their breaks such as the winter or summer holidays. Students do not require a work permit
  • International students who are pursuing a program that requires work experience such as through a co-op or internship program are eligible for working in Canada.

Spouse:Spouses are given the same rights as their spouse in Canada. For instance, if the husband is already working in Canada, the wife if joins the husband in Canada will also have the right to work in Canada.
